Growing...way too fast

I took this picture last summer after my dear husband finished building the kids a playground.  Holden could hardly stand to wait and even "helped".  He was so excited to climb all over it I think he wore himself out in less that 30 mins.  Since it was pretty hot day he took a seat on the bench under one of the sections.  I snapped this shot of his rosey checks not really thinking much of it until it was time to take it off the camera.  What I saw made my heart skip a beat.  My little boy was looking no so little anymore.  How did this happen and how did I not notice? 

I hung on to this picture until I could find the right paper.  I used Echo Park's A boy's life, some grey grid washi tape, my smash date stamp, cord and metal ribbon from Websters, AC Thickers and Echo Park's lime twist mini alphas. 

Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge - Card 4

Ok this is my last card for the Aug Sparks Challenge.  I haven't done much lately because cuties have kept me busy.  I was able to get this one done after much debate of what looked good etc. 

Next I will be gearing up for Halloween.  Zoe is too little to tell me what she wants to be so I might do something silly with her costume but Holden has figured out that he wants to be...a cow.  So this should be hysterical.  He is such a silly boy that keeps me laughing all the time.

PC girlfriend card challenge

Good Morning everyone!  Last night I submitted (under the wire) a card for the girlfriend challenge being held by Paper Crafts (www.papercraftsconnection.com). 

I made this for one of best-est friends Erika.  I left the VA about a year ago (where I meet Erika in 2008) and since then we have gotten together but not as much as we would like to.  So if we miss each other too much or one of us sticks up for the other on facebook we post on the other one's wall this phrase (another co-worker actually coined the phrase but it's too fun not to use - thx Joy!  :P). 

I used K & Co. paper, the alphas are from Provo Craft and right now I can't remember the stamp company so I'll come back and edit this tomorrow.  Enjoy!
